Anyone been to a Allergen specalist?

Ive ALWAYS had problems with my nose ive got a few enviromantal allergies that make my nose go haywire sneezing irunny blocked eyes itchy sensative and teary,face swellings itchy skin rashes on skin, horses actually stop me breathing

Trees pollenating ,dust ,animal fur fake silver and i have Asthma
A few years go i started to have real problems with my whole nasal area swelling and blocking i an not breath in or out.
Its causes huge headaches and leads to me using my inhaler as my lungs struggle to cope.
normal decongestants dont hel as ive not got a cold i have a spray from the doctors that works wonders.

The other day i asked my doctor about opperations that can be done to open up the nasal passage as im beyond fed up with having nose and breathing problems
he said it rarely works.
But due to my history he said he would refer me to a allergen specialist i know some of my allergies and my reactions to them. but this nasal blokage we can not pin point what causes it
i'll be going to a one in Southampton after ive got myself a new GP in Basingstoke

anyone been to one what do they do?? has it helped you??

Can't be of much use as I haven't been to one and have no experience but I'd imagine it might be very very useful! I guess that they'd try testing different things somehow and see if they could find a specific trigger. At least they can try and maybe find out what it is

I've got asthma and hayfever - only mildy though - and it's horrible so it must be harsh for you
