anybody SMEPing?

Been trying to follow SMEP plan this month. But ran out of opk sticks. I have a shiney new cb fertilty monitor for nxt month. I reckon I OVd yesterday (lots of EWCM). On SMEp do you bd for 3 days after + OPK? Or after Ov'n? I'd appreciate some advice. Bit confused!!!!

I think that you are supposed to BD the day you get a positive OPK, then the next day, then MISS a day and then try again

We tried SMEPing and did really well for the first half but didnt manage it the second day (after my positive) or the 'try again' day...

I am on the SMEP plan this month... I think the idea is to BD almost everyday, with just a day's brk inbetween (as Fi explained above) and BD once on the day of the OV too. But BD-ing anytime after 24hrs past OV would probably be ineffective - as the egg cannot survive for more than a max of 24hrs (though many studies claim it to be not more than 12hrs)...

Kezzipea, Looks like we will be SMEP as well as 2WW buddies! Even I am SMEPing and will probably OV in 4/5 days!

But my cycles are slightly shorter - around 27 days... good luck to you! Hope your SMEP is going along well

I will be STEMping this month - did kinda do it last month but as I didnt know when i OV I ended up just bd every other day....so kinda didnt do it last month???? LOL x

The weird thing is, when we BD'ed on CD12, it felt magical

when i tried to go again on CD14 it felt like i was 'cheating' on the magical experience. we still did it... but it didnt feel as right, if i am pregnant this month i know it is from that time x
