Hi all :)

Only 2-3 weeks pregnant according to the digital test (after 5 faint positives on the cheapos) did have major sensitive boobs few days before AF was due and actually had my first positive on the earliest day of my missed period (i can be anywhere between 21 - 26 days)

I am also quite burpy and so tired :O even at this early stage but 1 symptom i am having is my heart rate

I quite active and possibly a bit anxious so i keep a check and usually i am around the 60s but the last few days my heart seems to have felt 'loud' and now my resting is anywhere between mid 70 - 80s!
I am also quite warm

Is this usual?

I cannot book in to the midwife until i am 8 or o weeks and have looked on Dr google (ugh) but there is conflicting information and i would rather not get myself worked up and make it go even higher!

♡

I noticed my heart rate went up slightly because of my fitness watch but we're talking by 6-7bpm - although don't forget the old line 'every pregnancy is different. Midwife won't help until your booking appointment so the best I can recommend is see your Doc if your worries. That's what they are there for :) good luck x and congratulations!x

Apparently your resting heart rate is expected to increase by up to 15 extra BPM. It's because your body is working harder with the increased demands of pregnancy and it's considered quite normal to have a higher heart rate during pregnancy. Even when I'm sitting still, my heart rate seems to have shot up...

Your blood volume will also increase by 40-50%...I believe by the end of pregnancy !!! Which is a few litres !! All this is to accommodate your growing body and your growing baby. I really wouldn't worry!

Palpitations are common and normal in pregnancy hun I wouldn't worry. Like JaneyJan says. Midwife will check your bp at your appointment anyway x

So glad you mentioned this, I've been having the same. It's quite strange and can make me feel a bit like I'm stressed for no reason. But it seems it is probably normal and just another joy of pregnancy I guess.

I've been burpy..... I thought it was only me :)

Oh yes and the burpy-ness, definitely! I have a sensitive stomach anyway, but it's certainly gone up a notch since the start of my pregnancy.

As for being warm.. I was suffering a lot of hot flushes early on.. it slowly disappeared around 7 weeks I think.

As for feeling burly, it hasn't gone away for me lol. So embarrassing at times

My heart rate gets really quick from bfp. It stayed that way till I had my daughter and then like a week after having her it was totally normal again xxx

Thank you so much for replying everyone .. I would have replied individually and EARLIER but I never had any notifications so figured I had no responses :)

I feel more at ease now for sure .. although my emotions have started going haywire this week!

all part of the journey I expect!

xx
