i got a tattoo when i was 16 and have hated it ever since (now 23). Had 7 laser treatments on it now so its nearly gone

have any of you got one and regretted it?

the silly thing is i want another one!!!

I got my first one a few days after my 17th birtday. Its ok. I forget I've got it really. The other two I like, but again I forget I've got them!

An ex-friend of mine had a large forever friends bear tattoed on her arm when she was 18. Bet she regrets that now!

I have two one i got when i was eighteen and the other when i was about 25.

I love the newest one on my back but the one on my shoulder not so sure of its a big red love heart with wings.

Been toying with the idea of getting it reworked but i dont really want to end up with something even bigger that i still dont like..

My brother got a weetabix man tattooed on his shoulder at eighteen .
Nobody even knows what they are now.

I have a tribal band around the top of my arm that I hate now I have a Scottish Thistle across the bottom of my back which I still love and a chinese symbol on my tummy which I'm not fussed about either way

I have two tattoos and love them both. But OH has an awful tattoo what used to be an ex's name from when he was 16, he had it covered and not its the ugliest pattern ever above his nipple, he is thinking about getting it removed also.

I have 5 tattoos and I hate 3 of them. My cousin is a tattoo artist and when he was just starting out I let him do my tattoos, there not that bad but there quite fuzzy plus my biggest one is on the top of my arm and I hate it. I was only 15 when I had them done and I loved them till I was about 18-19 then changed my mind. You can see why they have age limits on them but its only when you look back you realise!

I got one on my shoulder blade when I was 19 and I do mostly forget it's there. I don't regret it though. I would like one on my foot a bit like Fearne Cotton but can't really afford it, and worried that it would be hard to disguise for formal occasions. Also I've heard that they go blurry quicker and need redoing which I can't be bothered with really.

Ive a braclet on one wrist, and a butterfly on the inside of my left wrist (i looove these)

And ive got a tribal tiger thingy on my right upper arm (hate it) and a sun /compass looking thingy on my left upper arm (hate that too)

I had my wrist ones done in the last couple of years , so i thought more about it, the ones on the tops of my arms i had when i was 17.... I just think they make me look really butch now, lol. When i was younger i thought i looked well cool... 8)

I do love my wrist tats though....and i would like more, i'll just be a bit more careful about where i put them.

No one really see's the ones on my arms anyway cos i wear tops to hide my bingo wings so theyre covered too

The other thing is I would like stars on my foot..3 stars, different sizes on the part of the foot that is visable when wearing ballet pumps. Would that hurt?
If I got those done I don't think I would regret it, I've wanted them done
for about 4 years..just worried about the pain hehe.

It hurt a lot more than the ones at the tops of my arms, and at one point my hand started manically shaking on its own but it was worth it Id wanted a wrist one for ages but i was a bit scared so i took the plunge! It did reeeeeaally hurt, but im alredy thinking about having my kid's names or initials underneath it, so it can have been that bad if im willing to do it again

I got a shooting star over my ankle when I was 16 to piss my parents off (didn't even work as much as I thought it would ) and now I wish it wasn't there but I try to tell myself that like my stretchmarks are a reminder of my pregnancy, the tattoo is just a reminder of my wild days!

i have 4 tattoos and only one without a meaning, which seems a bit pointless to me now, but im thinking of getting more added to it, its a star on my left wrist.

i have marilyn monroe portrait on my back and a dove on my inside elbow crease on my arm.

me and dean have tribal heart on our inside right heel (elaine22 it was the most painful tat out of the lot, and yeah it needed retouching because of wearing shoes whilst healing) nedless to say totally worth it!

yeah i got told the laser continues towork as i had a 12month gap. I hate laser as it does hurt a bit!

I love tattoos, just wish i had thought about it more!!
