My LO seems to be constantly battering my ribs and it's getting really sore and is making me breathless all of the time. Any ideas how I can get him to move a bit - I'm not very mobile as I need crutches to walk :(

Im afrais he will move only when he wants too! Babies are akward like that

My lil princess is the same lol

I think babys must love to cause there mummy pain and discomfort :rotfl:

I feel breathless most of the time but i guess are lil gems are worth every discomfort and pain

I was just about to make a new post to complain about the exact same thing and then I spotted this thread.
my ribs are killing me, they feel all battered and bruised! Sometimes it feels like she has her feet wedged in between my ribs which makes it so much more difficult to move.
It really is starting to hurt :|

Yep, I have this too

Sometimes feels like a muscle in my rib area has been overstretched or ripped and it burns....horrible! :(

I get that too but i've never been able to describe it! I get it if I suddenly move or if i'm carrying something.

Yeah, I generally get it from sudden movement or when I sit up from lying down :?

why im up now as baby is very energetic right now lol else she be battering my ribs if i was to lay in bed. trouble is im tired :(

i ended up crying in tesco's because of this!
they thought i was having the baby!
problem is if i push her back down she seem's more determioned to push up! :wall:

It seems that as the day goes on the higher up she is. Having a lie down seem's to be the only way of easing it.

I can't suggest anything that works, but would the birthing balls help? Failing that, sleeping on different sides might make it move? Mine's been on the right all the time until today when it shifted to the left side as that's the way I slept last night..
