Any side effects to steroid injections?

Yesterday I started first of steroid injections to mature my sons lungs as my waters are really low and I’m older mum with history of stillbirth. I’m due back for another at 1pm. But I wondered if anyone has had them and had any funny effects? They said aren’t any but I’ve had no sleep with horrific aching thighs a headache and very little movement from baby. I will obviously tell them this soon as I go in but just curious if it’s a normal kind of thing x
