Sorry for grim pic. B spat up this morning and there was wee flecks of yellow in it. Maybe bile?

This wk he has spat up at least once a day. Sometimes small bit and sometimes a fair amount.

Starting to think he has a bit of reflux but it comes and goes. The only thing that doesn't is he is always croaky after a bottle. He doesn't cry with any of it though but sometimes doesn't like being winded.

I did mention when he had his jabs and doc said to bring him in if concerned but that baby gaviscon can cause constipation. He only goes once every few days as it is

Opinions?

Thanks xxx

I can't really help im afraid. Never seen yellow flecks in vomit before! Hope he's ok x

Dylan full on vomited in the car on the way to. Mw appt when he was just over a week old, it was well yellow and I was worried. Showed the Mw and she said nothing to worry about and that sometimes baby sick can look like pure orange juice! It's not been so yellow since, I assume its to do with acid and bile. X

Thanks. Xx he was fine and none since touch wood xxxx

Glad he's ok now. Isaac had a bright yellow vomit a couple of weeks ago, I whisked him to the docs & she said maybe a bit of stomach acid but nothing to worry about. He has a bit of reflux so makes sense. She said that if it's green that's more worrying.

The same happened to me when Ryan was a couple of months old I actually kept the bib he did it on and took it to the drs (we had an appointment anyway) and he said it was either bile or his vitamins which are a yellow colour. It only ever happened once so I didn't really worry about it too much.

Thanks girls. If he is spitty uppy this wkend will book appt next wk and take pic. Xxxxxx

Is your LO ever actually sick? It sounds like silent reflux but they are not sick with that - its just acid that comes up (hense the reason silent)

I've never seen spit up like that tbh, it doesn't look like anything to be concerned about but keep your eye out anyway

xxxxxxxxxx

Hey hun,

First time he's had that yellow. Very strange. He spits up. Idk if I'd call it sick, but maybe it is. Idk. Most of the time it's just a bit that comes back up, but every so often he wofts a big bit up. He's had it for the past week, but seems to have weeks where it'll happen at least once a day when burping, and weeks where it doesn't. The one thing he always has though is a mucusy sound after a bottle. Am thinking of taking him to the doc to ask. I had asked before and they said it was just mucus but he's 11 weeks now.

xxxx

Kayden was still mucusy til about 2/3 weeks ago & he's 22 weeks. You could hear it when he was breathing while sleeping, when I think about it I duno if thats a symptom of reflux. My eldest LO had it too & didn't have reflux.

xxxxxxx

Hmm it is sounding suspiciously like it isn't it? Thanks hun. Will keep you posted. Hope you're doing ok.xxx
