Any harm in a toy for my baby?

I bought my friend a toy for her boy when he was born and i loved it.

It was a plush butterfly that played twinkle twinkle like a music box when you pulled a cord and the wings had little twinkling lights on then.

I loved it for me and my baby.

I really didn't want to give it up, but well of course i did when i went around to meet him.

That was a few month ago and i spoke to her the other day and she was telling me how much he loves the toy i got him. It's his favourite and it has to go everywhere. They use it to get him to sleep, when he is breastfeeding. He loves it as much as i do

It kind of makes me feel sad and i thought i got it on sale so they wouldn't have any more, but they do. They still have them in.

Would it be too much of a bad thing if i buy my baby one?

It is a crazy ttc lady thing to do?

Nah I reckon it's ok. It's not like you've bought everything needed for the 1st year or something ( have you?!). It can be your TTC mascot for when ( not if ) it happens.

I thought about doing the same with a Lamaze toy which I've bought for at least two other peoples babies. They're like these arm and ankle bands with cute butterfly's and bugs on them Awwwwwww.

Omg! Me too. Was thinking about getting the 3ds for Black & White coz I've read that it does have some 3d enhancements. Which one are you getting Black or White?

I found a really cute bib in boots when I was 17 and obviously didn't buy it, but I have never forgotten it

Go for it hun, it will be your thing that can help you remind yourself why we put ourselves through all of this!! A couple of years ago I saw a beautifull antique high chair and I still think about it!! Wish I had got it but I guess you cant hide a high chair away can ya?
