antiseptic throat lozenges

Does anyone know if i can take some of the Morrisons antiseptic lozenges for sore throats, coughs and colds? Ive had a really bad cough for weeks now and its really getting me down now, ive even pulled some muscles coughing. Ive got much stronger inhaler now but im still coughing all the time so wanted to try these lozenges to see if they would help but im not sure if they are safe for me to take.

i was told no to lozenges such as strepsils but was told halls soothers and lockets were ok xx

Thanks for the replies, im still suffering but now its my sinuses ( fed up now, the last few weeks have been terrible with my asthma getting really bad aswell, im so not enjoying it atm x

I am the same gone down with a stinking cold and a very irritating chesty cough. I'm coughing so much I am hurting in my bump. Think I have pulled a muscle or something.
Plus it is making me sooooooooooo tired!!!
