I spent this weekend with a friend whose son is 10 months old now.
her baby didn't take to breast feeding and so she has always used bottles. Apparently he suffered from very bad colic until 4 months or so.
She has a selection of bottles, some wide-necks and some traditionals. She said that she didn't think that the wide-neck bottles were any different from the standard ones in terms of preventing colic, and she thinks it is a bit of a gimmick.
Just wondered what other mums had found?
