Hi girls. Abigail has been so unsettled for 3 days now - its constant crying and pulling her legs into her tummy like she is in pain. We have tried infacol - it helps her to bring up some of the wind but it just doesn't seem to be cutting it. Has anyone got on well with anti-colic bottles? She is so tired and so are me and OH. And he is back to work thurs so need to try get things netter before then.
Thanks in advance xx

Hi Hun, my little one suffered with colic around 2 weeks. I bought her the Tommee Tippee Anti-Colic bottles which in my opinion are fantastic. They are a bit pricey but well worth the money. I tried the Dr Browns bottles first and didn't get on with them at all.xxxx

I cannot recommend dr browns bottles highly enough, they're expensive but fantastic. Look at boots if your thinking of getting some because they have 3 for 2 deals on a lot. We also put Phoebe on a comfort milk and used colief drops. I hope it gets a bit better for you soon, I know how awful colic is :hugs:

Dr brown bottles are amazing I did have TT anti colic ones and I found them to be awful . Dr brown bottles are a life saver x

What bottles are you using? i found the avent bottles made dds very colicy when they were babies, so i switched to tommee tippee and that stopped. im using tommee tippee this time with ds too.

I would recomend them you can also get colic bottles in the shops

I used Tommee Tippee anti colic bottles, they were a bit more expensive but can you put a price on being colic free??
I was going to opt for the Dr Brown ones but a couple of friends said they were leaky?? Never used them myself though.

I personally would never use TT... I found them awful for colic and know alot of babies who have had the same problem. We used Phillips Avent and have never had any problems.

If i had to choose again i would use either phillips avent as we have or may possibly try the mam or nuby bottles. I've heard excellent things about both of these and we use the nuby cups which i cannot fauly in anyway.

I swapped from TT to MAM and personally think they're fab and would recommend them to anyone.

you will have different opinions from everyone. I guess different bottles work differently for different babies?

Maybe its just a case of trying a new type and seeing how LO gets on?

Thanks girls. Oh went to asda, he managed to get 2 tt ones. So will give them a bash and if not shall try some others. I agree there's no price on anti colic xx

Its interesting how some people would reccomend a product some wouldnt. everyone prefaires different things and has different expereinces with different products its just about finding what you like and what suits your baby :) x

The Mam bottles are fantastic, Albert's colic is nowhere near anything like it was. The Tommee Tippee ones I had fell apart after a few weeks :(

Im also a MAM supporter. It was between MAM and Dr, Brown and the fact MAM bottles can be sterilised in the microwave is what won me over, nothing to do with price, it was more the racticality. No need to haul sterlisers everywhere. x
