When do people start going?

Is it free on the nhs?

Are you gonna go to the classes?

when i was PG with Adele i just missed the first one as my waters had broke but i really wanted to go.

When i was PG with Colby i was asked to go but i couldnt cos i wasnt allowed to take Adele along and i had no one to look after her so i had to miss it, but theyare free on the nhs and they are supposed to be really good fun thats why i wanted to go

if you do go hun let me know what it was like

will do... if i get to go..

do u know how far along u have to be to go?

my first one was when i was 26 weeks pregnant it was due at 7pm the day after my waters broke and i was in hospital so i couldnt go to it, it was heald in the library centre but i know some places hold them in the hospital im just not sure as that was 4 years ago

I have been told to book mine at 24weeks then they start at 26, I will be going with OH :D

With Jess i was offered one, but it wasn't till i was like 37 weeks and i didn't bother. I never got offered any with Aimee but don't think i would of gone anyway.

I was told to book by 20 weeks! Of course, that wasn't mentioned until I asked at 28 weeks :(

I still got onto a one day condensed course. It was ok and useful to confirm stuff you probably already know. I didn't learn loads and have found this forum to be an altogether more useful resource to be honest.

It's free so if you've the time why not? A lot of people meet mummy friends at these things too :)

I highly recommend them, I'm finding mine useful and have met other people too!

Me and My OH went private for ours though (because he works 7am-7:30pm & wouldn't have been able to attend NHS ones) so am not sure when the MW gets you too book in as we booked ASAP, But am pretty sure they cover exactly the same in the NHS ones.

Princess, your OH works 12.5 hours a day! Bless him, what does he do?

Well he travels for 2hrs of it  Sorry should have been more precise (SP?) But i find it so hard not seeing him that much  thankfully he's going to apply for a new job after bubs is here so he can spend more time with us :)
He's an I.T Technician (BOFF Basically!)

Im booking my antenatal classes at my next MW appt, which is in two weeks.

My antenatal classes start on the 6th Nov, Il be 32 weeks pregnant then and they last for two hours at a time and we attend 4 classes, all on a Monday night.

Im really excited about it. Also I have booked into a booby feeding workshop on the 11th November (same day as my 21st bday party!!)

fingers crossed he gets the job! It's tough, I know. My OH used to work 60 hours a week in a restaurant but luckily got out just in time to get ready for fatherhood!

Hope it works out xx

I just booked us on to an NCT course. It's not until December but my midwife told me to book NOW as they get so booked up?!
It's the only bit of organisation I've done as I'm too superstitious to do anything else until I have my next scan!
Lx

Thanks hun me too :) 60 hours  well atleast he got out before bubs arrives! Wish Tim had of, he'd loose his paternity entitlement if he did now :( Oh well i'm sure it'll work out in the end!
