Another scan yesterday..

.. fortunately bodette has grown a little but amnio fluid level down again and she is still extended breech, so not much hope of her turning by herself C section looking very likely.

Not sure how I feel about the idea of a section but I guess it has been recommended by my consultant for so long now I should be used to the idea but still a bit freaked out and still hoping that next weeks scan will show lots of fluid and space for her to move!



but main thing is she is OK in there, growing and moving alot.. very reassuring!

Are you ok? I hope it all turns out ok, Everyone would like a natural birth i think but as long as your LO makes it here fit and healthy it'll be ok. How r u feeling?

good news that bodette has grown a little.. have they told you what weight they expect her to be?

Have they told you there is no chance of bodette turning on her own? i've heard of babies turning right upto 38 weeks... have you tried sitting on a birthing ball? haven't a clue how (bought a gym ball but keep falling off)aparently it helps!

If you have to have a c section at least its for the best. You'll get to meet bodette sooner rather than later. I know we'd all prefer a natural, quick, uncomplicated birth (me included) but at the end of the day whatever way our babies come into the world isn't important - as long as they are healthy.

Good luck with your scan next week.. Hope you have more fluid and bodette manages to turn.

Good news that Bodette is still growing Anna Marie. You are almost term now, so she should be absolutely fine.

As for your thoughts about c-section, that is perfectly normal hun. We have it drummed into us for so long that the 'natural' way to give birth is a vaginal birth, but surely the natural way is the safest way?

Whatever happens, you will both be fine. And as Hayley says, you'll get to meet her a little earlier!

Wow anne marie your LO has come so far! I'm sohappy for you! Don't worry about having a section, I think if you are mentally prepered for it recovery will be much easier

Really pleased to hear that bodette has grown since your last appointment, she's a tough little cookie!! My sister has had a vaginal birth and a c-section and she said there are pros and cons to both. Can only echo what everyone else has said, as long as your lo is delivered fit and well you won't give a damn how she gets here, hang on in there!!
