Another ovulation q

So,

I had a peak smiley on my OPK today & I have cramp which I’m assuming is relating to ovulation.

My question is, do pains happen before, during or after ovulation?
I can’t BD tonight, while I have the pain due to my bf being away. I can tomorrow however. Could this be to late?

It might depend on the brand. I think the OPK I used to use said the smiley face meant have sex in next 24-48 hours.
I go by EWCM as well as the kit.

They can happen at any of those times. Tomorrow might be too late...it's hard to know. You usually ovulate 12-36 hours after a pos opk. Older women have shorter gaps between pos and ovulation and some ovulate just before the positive shows up. I'd dtd tomorrow just in case.

If you are using clear blue opks then once you get your solid smiley you will be ovulating from 12-48hrs after that peak.
I would say DTD the day after your peak is absolutely fine x
