My doppler arrived today and when I turn the volume switch to turn it on its not working. Is there anyone that has one and knows what I'm doing wrong? It may just be faulty, so disappointed x

Sorry if I'm being patronising but have you activated the battery? You need to take it out and clip it in. I didn't at first and could not work out what was wrong.

Lol don't worry that's not patronising. I never done that. I was trying to pull the battery out though and I couldn't get it. Ill give that a try later. Thanks :) x

Try listening to your heartbeat to get used to it, then try and find babies, it should be alot faster than yours. Goodluck and let us know how you get on x x

Don't worry if you can't hear it yet. I only heard mine for the first time yesterday and even then only first thing in the morning when I was so full of wee my kidneys nearly exploded!

I think it must vary alot between people and my baby must be lying further back then some, either that or the placenta is at the front because usually all I can hear is a whooshing noise that think is blood going through the placenta.

Good luck

the babys heart beat wil sound like a galloping horse really fast where yours will be slow
