anaesthetist appointment

Hi

I have an appointment with the anaesthetist on Tuesday at hosp due to the fact that I may have to have a section.

Did any of you have an appt for this?

I've seen the consultant and will do again but with my section last time I didn't meet the anaesthetist until the actual morning

i didnt see anaesthetist till about 15 mins b4 i went in

Was the same as you the last time
Didnt see the til same day.
Maybe you hospital policy has changed??

Have been told if I am getting a section this time I have to come in
3 days before for final booking in and prescriptions for Zantac
Will not have to come in til 10 am on the actual day
Then get sectioned approx 12 noon or thereafter.

Time saving probably.
I wouldnt worry about it

I had this - have a large fibroid which may have meant I needed a section but all is okay now. I met her and had to discuss what would happen if I needed to be operated on - she wanted to discuss anything she should know (I do faint a lot) and generally the procedure. Seemed a slight waste of time to me!
