Hi all

When i first started feeding ellis i was just giving him 2-3 ice cubes for the taste, now he has 5-6 cubes and still is opening his mouth for more.

Should i be giving him the same amount as a jar, or it fresh food different to jarred?

I worked out 6 cubes is only 60g.

How are other fresh food mums making there food up?

I never weighed how much I gave Ryan, he stopped when he didn't want anymore so told me himself really.

Now Olivia is eating more i just blend what ever i give her all together and i have some little pots that i put it in then i freeze it and take it out the night before i need it!

I do the same - just make up little pots - Arianna tells me what she wants tho - some days she'll have a whole pot in the morning and another at night, other days she'll just have about 1/2 the pot.

i make a big sausepan full of fresh food then i get small sandwich boxs and fill about 6 of them. then they all go in the freezer. then each day i will heat the sanwich box and he has all of it. about the same size as 1 large baby jar or 2 small jars.
these are good. they sell them in asda and tesco cheap.

Yea i do the same as dionne, it seems to work well for us!

The ice cube tray didnt really work for long as Olivia like her grub she's a little fatty :D

I used Chinese takeaway tubs with Ryan. I used to spend day a week cooking loads of different meals and liquidizing them for him then just defrost two tubs every other day so he had two different meals. Half one of those tubs was the exactly right size.
