Candy floss is just sugar isn’t it? Probably not the healthiest choice but don’t see why it would be harmful as a treat, What makes you think it might be harmful? X

These get better and better

I think my best advice to you is check the NHS website with regards to what you can and cant eat during pregnancy - you will be a lot more knowledgeable after.

I thought it might be harmful because of the food coloring, but yeah it is just sugar.

Its all crap, which i personally wouldn't pump into my body pregnant or not. Its totally up to you what you chose to eat, the guidelines are just that, guidelines.

I think you should stay away from google and get yourself either a science based pregnancy book or stick to the nhs website. There are a handful of things you should and shouldn’t do during pregnancy, everything else is your judgement and thing to be as healthy as possible.

I recommend the mayo clinic pregnancy book. Not preachy about birth methods and just based on fact.

Candy floss isn’t going to hurt you or the baby. Unless you eat like 12 buckets of it every day!

Lots of stuff has food colouring it in, mainly processed foods, they sneak it in to everything, food colouring is not harmful to humans as far as anyone is aware, otherwise it wouldn’t be used in such abundance x

Agree with this, the nhs website basically tells you what you need to know without going over the top and over complicating anything x

If you listened to everything on Google, you'd die of starvation because you wouldn't be able to eat anything!!
Sugar obviously isn't the best.. But won't hurt.
With my daughter I was super healthy, I got GD and had some other problems. With my son, I ate whatever I wanted, (apart from what the nhs said avoid) never got GD he was born 5 weeks early, and was perfect didn't need any help.

There’s absolutely nothing that you are “not allowed” there’s national guidance which is based on evidence. However, common sense applies.

I will use the NHS website from now on. And ive also got 'The mayo clinic pregnancy book' ordred and coming. Is it a good book??9

I've pretty much stuck to my usual diet throughout my pregnancy and just followed the NHS guidelines for what to avoid. I've been lucky that I've had no cravings/aversions and have genuinely just wanted normal food. Personally, I don't like candy floss at all so I wouldn't eat it even if I wasn't pregnant!!
