Always happens in 3s?

So I was sitting in the staffroom today and one of the physio's has announced that she's pregnant and one of the nurses on the ward is pregnant too. Everyone started saying, "Oh well you know these things happen in 3s so I wonder who the 3rd is..."

I've never heard that happening in 3s thing but Im pretty certain I blushed and scoffed my sandwich to avoid joining in the conversation.

Have they guessed and are winding me up?!

Yes I know the feeling, people have asked me when we're going to have another one! I just laugh and say oh maybe next year..! They prob dont know, everyone says that things happen in threes, it just so happens that where you work it truly has!

Hehe, I'm the only one of 'child bearing' age in our office so if it comes in three's there will be some shocked faces!!!! But true in the other team there are three all due around about the same time too.

How strange is that happening in 3s!! Yeah Im gonna wait unitl my scan, day after tomorrow, woohoo!!! You how Ive been saying how Imparanoid Ill go to the scan and they'll say, you're not really pregnant after all, just a big mistake, well I say a TV comedy and that actually happened to one of the characters, said she was having a 'hysterical' pregnancy!! Im hoping thats not a real thing, cos to be honest, me &the word hysterical arent a million miles apart!!

I can totally relate to your post tiny - had my scan yesterday and was utterly convinced they were going to tell me I'd imagined it all...I must have looked at the scan picture about 100 times today!

speaking of these things happening in threes...I rang my best friend to tell her I was pregnant only to find out she is expecting her first baby a week after me. OH rang his good friend a few hours later only to find out his wife is due 10 days before us!

they could happen in 3's I guess! In my family there is me, and 2 cousins both pregnant - one is due to pop at any minute, one if due in March and then there's me bringing up the rear in August. Everyone is looking forward to next xmas with at least 3 new babies in the family!

Kiwi, I know what you mean - I got bfp at the beginning of December, no-one (doc / mw etc) has confirmed that I'm pregnant, and although I've had sickness, tiredness etc, that's all starting to ease now and I can't help but worry that it's all in my head! Scan isn't for another 2 weeks yet either so will just have to try to stop myself from worrying too much until then I guess!

I hope I get mine at 11 weeks then it will be just over a week ish (at a push) til I have my scan - I really want to be reassured that everything is ok

Its not actually tomorrow, its Friday, I had a crazy moment last night when I decided it was already Wednesday cos i was done with Tuesday

Im losing my mind!!!

NOW its the day after tomorrow!
