ALT blood test results consistantly high

Hi,

Ive been in and out of hospital recently having all sorts of tests. My ALT (????!!) is consistantly high, first reading 54, second 45 and its back up to 50 again.

I know this is something to do with the liver and the doctors at the hospital have said its unusual to be this high at this stage of pregnancy.

Does anyone have any info on this?? I dont know much about this 'ALT' test or what it could mean for baby. I have tried to google it, but not much info.

I've never heard of that before. I hope everythings ok. I would have thought the doctors would have said if they thought it was a big problem

My ALT's and LFT's both came back at rasied, and it ended up being OC.
