Hello Girls,

I just wanted to share something with you. I was totally clueless about alcohol free beer on my last pregnancy so was on the plain tonic waters - still very nice. But wow, alcohol free Becks is so much like the normal sort. Well it's 0.05% which is practically free of alcolhol, but last night I sample some of this:

http://www.alcoholfree.co.uk/product_in ... cts_id=235

....and it is very drinkable, it's 0.5% so only had a couple of glasses but I was very impressed. The white wine version is rot but the red is very nice, They make it in the normal way and then remove the alcohol.

Just thought I'd share. I'm definetly getting some in for December time.

Thanks for the tip Becs but stuff that for a game of soldiers, if I can't have the real thing, I'd rather go without!!!! :x Give me a bottle and a half of a good Pinot Grigio anytime - roll on April!!!!LMAO :rotfl:

Well beer is the staple drink in Spain... It a 1€ fro a caña (like a half of beer)... So people drink it, along with red wine/sangria by the bucket full...

Here in the pregnancy mags they actually advertise alcohol free beer, which I find so funny.. I've had this craving for beer (I normally can't stand it) so the 0.0% have been very handy, plus only 21 calories a can... I know I won't break my weight limit either... :cheer: :cheer: :cheer:

As for wines, we don't get non alcoholic ones here but something called Tinto de Verano is really popular.. its half a glass of red wine, with caserea which is like a sweet fizzy water...they give it to kids here too (although coke cola is favored ) but it's about 3% so it's not something you can drink tones off...

I don't know if anyone enjoys cider, but I found one in Tesco that is 0.5% and is amazing!! I've tried the "pear cider" types, but I found it far too sweet - just like drinking those horrible sweet sparkling wines :puke: Anyway, this low alcohol cider is just like drinking Magners or similar! You'd never believe it was low alcohol!

Give it a try - I've had grown men amazed at this one :rotfl: :rotfl:

i've totally gone off alcohol at the moment, don't miss it at all
Never thought that would happen
