Almost time!

After waiting to ttc #2 for 12 months it's almost my turn!!! Initially we decided to start in May this year but postponed it to Sept for various reasons. Then my DH got cold feet and suggested we wait till January!?!?! (Yeah right! As if I havent waited long enough )
But, after lotssss of talks the past week we decided I should get my coil out asap
I phoned my docs and they booked me in for a consultation appt today with a view to get coil out another day. But when I got there the doc said No need to wait - let's just get it out today!!!!
So, I'm coil free and just waiting for AF then its all systems go
Im excited, scared, and nervous but mostly excited.
Anyone joining me in Sept?

Eek so exciting! I did the same when ttc my first went for a consultation about coil removal and it was taken out that appointment.

Glad you managed to get hubby back on board, I'm the one with cold feet lol We were originally going to start in Sept but now have no set date again I don't like the care worker job so thinking of leaving, but that leaves us in a shit financial position for longer still quietly hoping for maybe nov/dec time, but probably likely to be June next year!

Thank you, kanga! Really hope you get to ttc sooner than next year! ive waited 12 months now and i must say the year has gone super quick. So hopefully it'll be the same for you.

I'm sure the time will go quickly however long we decide to wait. My youngest is only 11months so have time to wait. Being sensible does have its down side lol

I will probably look in on ttc and see how your getting on as it is super quiet in wtt lol xx

Hey! I am about 30 minutes away from getting my coil out, and i will be ttc baby number 2! so excited but nervous! x

Hi flexilexi. How exciting! Do you know where you are in your cycle? As soon as I got mine out i realised i was about to ovulate so I'm currently in the 2ww. But I know that my body will probably have to adjust to life without the coil so I'm not sure it's worked. Will be testing next wed's. I'm already symptom spotting like mad and I'm only 3 or 4dpo

I am completely clueless as to where I am in my cycle to tell you the truth vecause I have not bled in about 8 weeks, I had very rare bleeding the whole 4 and a half years I had my coil in, the only way I think i might have a bit of pmt is when I get really spotty and crave chocolate hahaha! so i am just going to try and work it out when I actually get a period! xxx
