weight - 8lb 9oz
well havnt really got much of a birth story as it was all so quick ......
as most of you know i was having pains for around 3 weeks..
was woken up at 4.30 on thursday mornings with the same pain but as i have been having them for weeks thought nothing of it they were every 10 mins at this point which is how they had been for 3 weeks
any way went for a wee it hurt a bit but still thought nothing of it and went back to bed then at half 7 was woken again.....pain at this point was every 5 mins so i phoned my DH (who was in work about an hour away) and told him i was getting a bit of pain he said ok ill b home as soon as i can. i told him dont rush it prob a faulse alaarm again lol.. he told me ring my step-mam so i did n told her she said she was goin to have breakfast then come over. by this time it was 8 o clock so i phoned my mother who was in work and told her i was goin to hospital as i was gettin alot of pain i was on the phone 6 mins to her and had 3 contractions so i had to ring back my step mam and tell her to come NOW!! so she went to call lisa (lisa&alex) to fetch her over. when lisa got here she said i had to go now i was in definate labour lol 
i should have known tha.
my DH hadnt got home yet and i didnt want to go without him so tried to put off going until he got bac but lisa said i had to go then so i made my step mam ring DH he was goin to meet us at the hospital. after a MAD dash to the hospital finally got there at 25past nine where my dad was waiting for us with my brother as they were going to have my DD while i was in.
still no sign of DH though got really up set as he was alll i wanted there at that point.
got to labour ward at half nine and there was DH waiting for us was s o pleased to see him

the midwife asked me if i was booked in for the birth centre and asked if i still wanted to go down.. course i did i wanted a water birth. as the went to wheel me out i had another BAD contraction so the midwife said ill have to check you over so i got up on the bed and was told i was definatly not going anywhere i was 10cm dilated..
after around 7 or 8 pushes 3 puffs of gas and air and 10 mins later out came my beautiful little girl she was so small and couldnt believe she weighed 8lb 9oz.
she was put on me as i was breastfeeding and needed that skin to skin contact when it came to feeding time she latched on really well and fed for just over an hour..
if i hadnt have left the house when i did the baby would have been born in the house or lisas car lol. heres a pic of my little girl
