Allegric to your partners?????

Just a bit of a query but I saw my midwife today and told her about my itchy arms and legs, she did a blood test and I'll get the results tomorrow, but anyways she said I would probably be ok as both children have same dads and itchy skin is normally caused by an allergic reaction to partners.....has anyone else been told this?????? I know the only time I'm allergic to Mark is when he has severely p***ed me off....
