Well alan works at AWE (atomic weapons establishment) and whenever he comes in from work i can always tell him about my day but he can never tell me about his day cause its all top secret..And because they are so carefull with everything there he did tell me about how strict they are on unknown packages which they would be..Well a while ago there was a lunchbox on top of a car with no name or anything (your meant to put your name and ext number on everything like that)

And they had to evacuate the whole building about 10,000 workers and get the bomb sqaud in..

to spend ages checking and everything before going for the opening!!!

To find a ham sandwhich... i know its routine and its gotta be done..but it costs the company lots and lots and lots of money if they have to shut site..and i can just picture like 20 M.O.D bomb squad men all kitted up and holding up a ham sandwich saying ALL CLEAR!

then giving it back to the guy later "safe and sound sir" hahaha

haha, we had that at our secondary school (it was in Germany and thewre was high alert as the IRA had shot someone not too far away) and we had to be evacuated as someone had left their schoolbag outside. There was nearly a controlled explosion but the kid owned up, we had visions of his homework blowing up and then waving about in the wind.
