well we are very similar my husband has a grandson aged 18months!! when we told my husbands sons we were trying for a baby (didn't want to shock them too much so they've had time to get used to the idea) they were a little suprised but now they want it as bad as we do!!!

Never worry about what other people think as long as it works for you both then theres nothing to worry about! we have a 23 year age gap and everyone who knows us sees we are perfect for each other! xxx

I'm 37. DH and I only got together less than 2 years ago - never dreamed of having kids before meeting him! But after about 2 months we'd already picked out a boys and a girls name

Looks like things are going to tak a bit longer at our age but we'll get there! Xx

I am 23 my OH is 24. Trying for my 2nd and his 1st. My ex partner was 47 when we conceived so there is hope for all of you with older partners and also i was 19 when i got pregnant with my DD and i think i have done a pretty good job. Was definately the right time for me, just turns out it was the wrong man for me. But me and my lovely partner or just over a year have been trying for 8 months now and he is definately "The one"
