I just wanted to ask how long are you supposed to bleed after giving bitrh and when your cycle resumes....

I think its different for each woman. I bled for I think about 4 weeks-ish... but some woman can bleed for longer or shorter.

I bled for about 2/3 weeks and had period at 12 weeks. It was really heavy but only about 4 days long which was great as they used to be about 8 days!!!

I bled for about 2 weeks, the 2nd week it was really light though.

I got my period about 6 weeks after giving birth and it was just like a normal period.
