Af has come for the 18th time since iv being ttc. I got told last month I may need an ovary removed which upset me. I would be crying at this time of the month. But I have decided to book myself a well earned holiday instead!!!

Good for you! I'm on month 14, though we've been trying, not preventing since May 2014. I don't even want to think of exactly how long that is. lol We just got back from vacation and I thought for sure we caught this month, how great would it be to conceive on a gorgeous island?? Hoping we have better luck this month, really at the point of giving up on the whole thing. I hope you enjoy your holiday and keep your head up! *hugs*

Don't give up! I tried agnus castys and aspirin this month and got my bfp on 10dpo ! It is cycle 25!

Thank you both. Salley hopefully next month we will see those positive tests. our turn should come soon. I'm just worried the more the months pass the less likely it will be for me. A holiday is just what we need and the flights were cheap lol. Don't give up this is a tough journey but a worthwhile one.

Hi Liz, I took 75 mg a day, from day 1 and am still taking them now.
I took agnus castus too, just the ones from Holland and Barrett, alot of people have conceived the first month using them (or so I read).
Also omega 3 and slow release vitamin C from Holland and Barrett. Apparently these significantly improve fertility.
Oh and I didn't have any alcohol whatsoever for the last 3 months! Some people are allergic to wine apparently and so I cut it out.
I did however eat a full toffee pavlova and a box of fudge but threw some kiwi fruits in for fertility

Sorry you are on cycle 18. I am on cycle 17. It's difficult isn't it. I just try to focus on improving my fertility a bit more each month...but it can get disheartening. Summer is a better time for fertility though...Good luck. x

ps I don't think only having one ovary removed makes much of a difference to fertility. I had to discuss the possibility with a fertility doc at one point and he said that it won't affect fertility. I understand that it's upsetting though
Hello sunflower. Sorry to hear your on cycle 17. It gets very frustrating as the months pass on. Hopefully this will be your month. My fertility doctor said I only need one ovary and not to worry. I tend to worry about a lot lol. I'm just hoping the other ovary stays nice and healthy for me. It's the wait which is the worst part x
