Hi.

Does anyone feel like they get different advice from either different health visitors, internet or people?

I no we no best for our LO's but I just like to make sure I'm not giving her somethin I should be.

By this I mean food. I no I've posted a thread on what other food to make but can I give ready brek or weetabix at 6 month? Also how and when would you advise on introducing meat as one says one thing and another says different!! Urghhh I'm getting worked up because I want to give my daughter the best start but don't want to give her something too early.

Can anyone help please? Xx

properly cooked chicken is a good starter meat as it mushes easier than other meats, as do sausages and sandwich meat type things, ready brek is fine from 5 or 6 months my lo has it but they do say weetabix only after 6 months

and yeah everyone says lots of different things and i think you just have to go with what you feel is right for your child

Yeah im pretty much sick of all the contradictory opinions each time i see a different HV so i dont go anymore lol
I just used cow n gate baby weetabix till she was 6 months then gave her normal ones we eat

Iv been a bit bad at mo and been giving lots of jars but guessing its a good way to introduce meat and know the lumps are a safe size ( i have choking issues lol)

Just go with what you feel is right but I have a booklet my HV gave me that lists foods and the age to give them so if you wanna pm me i can email it to you
