Advice please! Normal symptoms or should I call midwife?

Hi!

So advice needed please ladies.... for the past few days I've been feeling awful.. not sure if it's all normal (and if anyone else experienced this) or if I should be calling midwife to get checked up. Symptoms are:

Severe headaches
Chills
Sore throat
Body aching
Extreme tiredness
Then the normal nausea/loss of appetite

It all sounds normal but I never felt like this with first child at all and honestly feeling horrendous, to the point where I don't even feel safe to drive at all.

Just want everyone's opinion if it all sounds normal or should I call up?? Don't want to be wasting midwife time that's all. Thanks xx

That sounds like something to go to the doctors for, a midwife wont be able to diagnose you, sounds like youve maybe caught something fluey/ some kind of infection.if your concerned about yourself or baby and its out of hours im sure nhs 24 could advise.

Thanks I'll maybe call docs in morning then. I should add I keep feeling dizzy too but I am still eating and drinking xx

I dont know but maybe its an ear/nose/throat kind of infection. Just tell the receptionist your feeling really unwell and you're just concerned because you are pregnant, that way if you can't get an apointment maybe you can talk to the duty doctor on the phone. Don't know if it works that way where you live x
