Advice Please Ladies

Hi,

I'm 25 weeks and 1 day.

Not wanting to be rash or anything but I thought I'd ask advice before worrying.

A couple of hours ago I got quite a bad pain in my lower stomach, it actually made me feel a bit sick cos it hurt that much, and now my bump seems much lower and it's harder at the bottom and it feels heavier if you understand me at all? Like when you were due on and you got that heavy feeling.

Anyway like I said it was a couple of hours ago now and I've not had any more pain, do you think it was a braxton hicks?

Hi Jo

Braxton Hicks are usually across your whole bump not just at the bottom but everyone's different so who knows!

Have you felt the baby moving since?

If you're concerned at all phone the hospital, they'll get you to go in to check the baby's ok

Yeah I felt baby do a bloody massive kick about 10 mins later so I'm not too worried but its just quite uncomfortable now and I wondered if it was normal for it to drop so suddenly that's all.

I'll have a word with my husband when he gets home and get him to judge if he thinks it's changed or if I'm just being over-sensitive

Kicking is good!

It might just be worth giving the hospital of midwife a quick call after hubby gets home just to get their advice xx

Hi Carley,

Yeah, that's what we've decided that the baby has turned cos it feels really low down now.

I've felt ok today but I felt like that all day yesterday, really dizzy and sick and light headed, don't know if it's at all connected.

I'm not too worried anyway, baby is kicking away so obviously quite content.
