weve seen various pushchairs in the sales but we have no idea what to look out for. what is a good push chair and what isnt? Any advice to us naive parents would be much appreciated.

You might be better off moving this post to 'Ask a Mum' hun, that way you can get advice from ladies that have tried and tested pushchairs!
It all depends on what 'needs' you have as to whether a pushchair is good or not....id make a list of priorities/functions you'd like yours to have and then get a mothercare book and start to compare
