aww hun. it takes time right? doesnt necessarily mean theres a problem does it. have you had/having tests done? if you got + on OPKs, then thats a good sign! xx
Yeah I know, it sounds harsh but I dont think I have a problem, my cycles are pretty regular and like you said I get positive OPK, but who knows! The other thing is that I have been pregnant before but with a previous partner not my OH.
My OH may have a low sperm count we think, I dont know for sure as we havent done any tests, but we think as he is quite overweight, is on anti-depressants for panic attacks and used to drink too much that this may have caused temporary infertility. He is weaning himself off the anti-depressants, has lost over a stone in 3 weeks, goes walking with me every day and eats healthy now. He only has a drink on a Fri and Sat night now and is taking zinc and multi vitamins, so we are hoping that in a few months time his sperm count will have got higher. If in 3 months I still dont get pregnant, we will have tests done then. That will be 12 months of TTC so the Docs will see us.
that sounds very promising hun. dont worry yourself too much as stress can contribute to irregular cycles just chill relax and BD with all your might you can get male home fertility tests from somewhere like boots cant you? its probably just the anti-depressants, iv herd they can cause big problems when TTC but only for a short while. xx good luck though hun. your BFP will come.
I wish I had known about the anti-depressants 10 bloomin months ago! I knew that a possible side effect could be erectile disfunction or lack of ejaculation but I wasnt aware until recently that they could lower the sperm count. Its really bad that its not printed in the side effects I think. They obviously dont want people with 'mental problems' to breed!
