advice on BD and OPK

I really need some brainstorming on the amount of sex and timing, so I am on CD10 and I had lots ewcm yesterday and still some today. The OPK is nearly positive(see attached), I am getting high fertility and it will be positive (peak) tomorrow.
So we did have sex yesterday as I got lots of ewcm, and I am thinking whether to do it tonight also and if it's peak I will have to do it tomorrow as well so that would be 3 days in a row. I will than leave one day off (second peak day) than do it the next day.

What do you think? is 3 times in a row too much? and also I get the most ewcm before positive OPK so I am thinking it's better to do it when I have the most ewcm?
any ideas?

Hey Maximus
take a look at the SMEP (sperm meets egg plan) on google.
This tells you that you should be BDing every other night and when you get your positive OPK you should be doing it 3 days in a row.
I hope this helps a little.

hi chattychar1990, I never tried that as I think I ovulate very quickly after a positive opk, and my ewcm dries up. so I am thinking it's best to have sex before positive and when I have the most ewcm

Yes i would start BDing when you see the OPK get darker and then do it 3 days in a row or until the OPK's line goes lighter.

hiya I am using conceive plus instead, but just thinking maybe I am more fertile before the positive OPK. I read somewhere that women over 40 can ovulate very quickly by the time they get positive. I always get my period exactly 14 days after my first positive opk, so this could mean I ovulate the same day? as I read somewhere that ovulation occurs 14 days before period.

My only advice Maximus is too just DTD for the next few days just so you know you did all you could. Sending you lots of baby dust

thanks, I will do, and my opk is got darker since this morning so yes it's imminent. I will do tonight and tomorrow than have a break for a day probably. My limit is 2 days in a row lol

update - I got my positive OPK , solid smiley face now, like I thought ovulation is very near and definitively BD tonight

No it's not too much if your partner is hydrated. We do AI so I know for sure that for us the amount produced for 3 days in a row doesn't go down much. If you have lots of EWCM it's the right time too. I wouldn't go more than 3 days in a row as it does start to go down. Plus because of yr age you probably ovulate very close to the pos opk (I ovulate the day before it!).

Hey maximus17, I’m in the similar boat to you!

Congrats on your pos OPK! So exciting

I’ve done two OPK’s over the last few days and both still faint, I have EWCM but according to my Flo app, today is meant to be my ovulation day, I’ve BD’d every other day of my fertile window (including last night) so hoping I’ve got all ends covered!

I’m hoping we’ll both get our BFP’s this month x x

I am CD15 today and have been doing it every other day sometimes twice a day. But from tonight i am going to do it every night until i know for certain that i have ovulated.
I am going to be one tired bunny by the end of this cycle lol!

Arghhh my husband couldn’t perform for ages last night so innthe end it was exhausting. I got peak reading on my monitor today so it means we have to do it tonight as well but I am not sure how to be honest. I don’t think he will be able to do 3 days in a row and I probably missed my chance this month. Soooo annoying...
