i like to keep my body clean and smooth and appealing, and that includes my lady bits (OH said mine's the cleanest prettiest one he's ever seen hehe)!
i cant use soap down there tho coz whenever i do i get thrush (baths tend to cause it too probably due to sitting in soapy water, so i take showers).
i use exfoliating gloves in the shower and after i clean everywhere else i clean that part (sorry this is the tmi bit!) by gently rubbing between the folds with the gloves on, then clean around the hole by sticking one finger in up to the first knuckle.
today i did it and there was a tiny bit of blood on the glove- do u think i ought to worry or is it just the scratchy gloves?!
sorry if ur eating ur lunch!

I would've probably wiped it with some toilet roll to see if I could see any blood on that.

Its a bit hard to say cos it might have been the gloves like you said. I would ring the hospital just in case cos they take spotting quite seriously at this stage. Even if its nothing at least you still get checked over and get to hear LO's heartbeat :)

I used to get Thrush every month :wall: so I know how you feel. I used to avoid baths and just shower with unperfumed soap, no scrubs, no bath/shower oil or gels. :|

I don't think it's a good idea to put the gloves around that area especially as it's so sensitive. Especially if they are exfoliating gloves coz they aren't even as soft as your own fingers would be!

Is there still any blood when you go to the toilet? If you are worried about it at all call your MW or GP's surgery so you can get checked out.

Hi

I would think its because of the gloves , i dont think it would be a good idea to resume doing it until after LO is born.
I know yoru more sensitive in that area and maybe this is why. Maybe phone your mw and see what she says
