As some of you know iv had 2 miscarriages this year and had some bleeding, had scan where they found a haematoma which if gets bigger can cause me to miscarry. I went to Dr today and she signed me off for 2wks and told me to rest and take each day as it comes.
I asked her about low dose aspirin and she couldnt say if it would improve my chances of keeping this baby or make the haematoma worse, she told me to do some more research on it and would leave it to me to decide.
What would you do if you were in my situation would you take it?? I just dont know what to do :(
Any advice would be appreciated xx

I'm sorry I can't help it's really not something I know about
Whatever you decide - make the most of the next 2 weeks and have a lovely rest

I don't know much about this but wanted to give you these

It was strange for the doctor to say its up to you. If it was me, I would maybe ask for a second opinion? Phone and ask for a midwife maybe or go and see another doctor??
Sorry I don't have much advice hun. I hope everything turns out okay for you and take the doctors advice to try and rest as much as you can.

I agree I would ring the doctors and ask for another opinion we ask the doctors these questions because they should be the experts! If you get no joy with them have you tried ringing the early pregnancy unit?
Good luck been thinking of you

i hope ur on the sofa with ur feet up woman!!! no cleaning or cooking or anything OK!?!?!? lol.

ive got no idea how asprin would affect it. id be tempted to say give it a go, but make someone else go out and buy it for u cuz u need to keep ur bum on the sofa ok?

good luck sara and have some extra special sticky baby dust xxx

well just phoned the EPU the midwife i spoke to said not to take it with a haematoma as it could make the bleeding worse, but she said she would check with a consultant and call me back...which she did and they say no also :( I had really wanted to try it but if im being told not to i guess i shouldnt.

Our bodies are amazing things.

Id say leave it to nature. Specially if both midwife and consultant have told you not to take it.

Do as the DR has said. 2 weeks of rest rest rest!!

Im keeping my fingers crossed for you and praying baby bean hangs in there!! xxxxx
