I don't know if I'm being paranoid, I've had a headache all afternoon & keep getting light headed. I keep getting 'stars' in front of my eyes. I don't think it's normal but wasn't sure. Is it worth calling someone, or should I wait & see if I feel better in the morning?

I would give your midwife a call, maybe just to check your blood pressure.

Yep, get your blood pressure and your iron checked.
Hope you are okay :D

Who should I call? I've got numbers for the community midwifes, delivery suite at LGI and Daycare unit at LGI.

Well I just called the community midwife office, got a recorded message saying they've shut down & to call the delivery suite. Called them and spoke to a horrible woman who made me feel like an idiot. She said it's completely normal in pregnancy & I should just take 2 paracetamol. She made me cry! So I'm going to have a bath & go to bed & call my normal midwife in the morning, hopefully she'll be a bit nicer to me.

The seem to be useless when you call the midwives in the hospital as i found out a couple of weeks ago.

Try and relax and not worry so much cause if you worry it will make it all seem 10 times worse.

Hope you feel better soon.

Thats so nasty of her. Don t cry  , you take your paracetemol and go to bed and call your midwife in the morning. These people are supposed to help. Okay, they maybe hear the same symptoms a lot but its a unique thing to you. If you feel much worse call back, call after 9, it will probably be a different shift.

I have had quite a few headaches and was told i have low blood pressure and the MW asked me if i'd felt dizzy. Maybe you have low blood pressure which i've read isn't a bad thing whilst pregnant.

Hope you feel better soon

Thanks for the hugs last night, I went to bed early but still not feeling right today. Got a meeting at work in a minute but am going to call my midwife after so hopefully she'll be nicer than the b!tch last night.

how you feeling now? are you eating enough to keep your blood sugar up? i feel faint on and off and realise i have to eat more regularly, baby taking all the food from me!!
