Advice from labour ward since my show on Fri..

Hi ladies,
I thought I'd just write what labour ward have told me incase anybody is experiencing similar! Basically, I went in on Friday as I had a show (bright red blood). Everyday since Friday, I have lost bits of my plug (brown/green) and also had period pains and lots of tightenings. I rang up an hour ago as I have thick brown stuff coming out of me today and quite a lot of it. Labour ward said that this will be the dregs of an old show and before labour starts happening, I will get lots more bright red blood. She said I may not get anything for a couple of days now. Gutted!!! And there's me thinkin' that things were kicking off!!!

Hun they only go by averages, you might have LO tonight you never know! I've not had any bleeding whilst being pregnant and I think if I get any now I'd probably pass out no matter how normal they say it is lol. Keep thinking positive, worrying or stressing can prevent labour so chin up, go for a nice walk on this beautiful day and fx it doesn't take you long now xxxxxxxxx
