Acupuncture

I know that some of you girls have had or are having acupuncture, would you recommend it?

Did you have it during IVF cycles?

I have been having it for 4-5 months, it can take 3 months for it to have a positive effect on egg quality etc, I did have it done during the IVF and at every appointment they kept saying how good my lining was, I don't know if it was anything to do with acupuncture but I am sure its supposed to help that too. I love it and would recommend it, its very relaxing too and my acupuncturist knows more about fertility than my GPs so I could ask her about anything and everything xx

I I may look into it for both of us, it's so puzzling as had such a good response to the medications and my lining was always fab, I'm thinking a little extra like acupuncture can only help surely X

I am not sure how much evidence there is on it helping male fertility, I haven't looked into it loads but I think it really won't do any harm either way. I would try and find someone with a special interest in fertility xx

I started acupuncture about 2 months ago. I'm having the treatment every two weeks. Our first cycle of IVF is not due to start until the New Year so I can't comment on whether it has improved fertility. I do find that I'm much more relaxed in general and my sleeping pattern has improved dramatically. I receive my acupuncture at the private clinic that I'm under. Hope this helps. x

I had it for months and I'm going to start it again now were starting IVF, in fact it's reminded me to make an appointment, hubby had it for a while too xx
