Acrylic nails

I've got acrylic nails on and want to take them off. Do you think the stuff to soke them in is ok? It's acetone.

Yeah acetone but will take a while to soak!!
Next time get one of the soak off gels (i use bio gels) as they soak off really easily and are good for your nails!!

Yes its fine to soak your acrylic nails off with acetone when pregnant. A few times throughout your pregnancy is fine, you don't want to be using acetone every week!

Just make sure if you are putting the acetone in a bowl (not plastic) and then putting your hands in, that you put a towel over your hands so that you don't breath in too much acetone, it does evaporate very quickly.

Speaking from experience of someone who wears acrylic nails quite often... I wouldn't recommend using the bought stuff but going to get them taken off at a proper beauty salon. I've tried this a couple of times and always end up with awful nails afterwards. Getting it done by a pro is much better and all the lovely growth and protection you've had with the acrylics makes it so worth having yourself a bit of a nice manicure afterwards. Makes all the difference!! Honest!!!! xxxx
