Aaron had his surgery today but didn't cope very well so they had to cut it short.

He's stable again now but still has a long way to go. His bladder is still open and there's significant damage to his urethra that may or may not need a big surgery, either way he will need at least one more surgery

I miss happy smiley pics of Aaron so much. I know tweety is not celebrating new year, but I just want to say I hope this next year brings nothing but good news. It's been one hell of a roller coaster and I for one would move the world to stop it for them. I cannot wait for more play dates and fun times together.

Aaron is doing well. He's still intubated but is now on cpap rather than ventilation.
They have ordered the device to fix his heart, and he will probably have that done early next week.
They will extubate him before then if he's ready, which could be tomorrow or Friday.
The doctor told us that his Asd has always been there and hasn't been brought on by the RSV - it's just not caused him any problems until now but they are lucky that they've found it, as it would have caused some problems eventually.
It's all good news though!

At least he was in the right place with his heart problem and fx the part comes soon!
