Surgery.. Oh what a little trooper. I thought it was an infection or something because he had quite a bad cough didn't he! Poor little mite... Come on Aaron you can beat this... We're all behind you!

We had a wobbly day yesterday, Aaron had a bleed in his bladder. This is unfortunately a side effect of run on EMCO. They attempted surgery last night but it was unsuccessful. He went back under the knife this morning for a dfferent approach and it appears to have been successful. He's now stable and all his numbers are holding steady. The plan going forward is to get him off ecmo ASAP so that there are no more complications with bleeding. They are trying to give him as much time as possible to allow his lungs to repair some more. Oh god love him he's been through so so much! But he's a fighter! And he's got a huge amount of people behind him - it's been making me so emotional when the pics come up on fb! I hope you and mr tweety are doing "ok" and are looking after yourselves too you're never far from my thoughts xxx
