Hi ladies.

I never post.. But have been here for a long time so I wanted to share my positive story In the hope it will help others like me in the future.

I have one LO who is 5, and was trying to conceive a second for over two years with absolutely no success. We conceived very easily the first time, so couldn't explain this. To cut a very long story short.... We had all the tests, scans and nothing was wrong with either of us, OH even has super sperm (according to the gp!) I also had acupuncture, used ovulation tests, to no avail. We did everything by the book!

Anyway. In the end, we decided we would have to just accept it might not happen and to get on with life. The hardest thing was accepting that my LO may not have a sibling. But we also did not want to waste the time we had while she was young.

Then in the autumn I got pregnant, out of no where after 2 years of nothing! But sadly we had a MMC at 10 weeks.

One thing I didn't mention was we are both very busy, my husband runs his own business, and I was working two jobs. So we decided to make some changes. I listened to the advise of a friend who got pregnant after trying for her second for ages: drink less, relax more, walk/ exercise more. I gave up some of my responsibilities, and tried my best to cut back on the wine!

Bam. I am now 14 weeks pregnant and all is looking fine so far.

So, hang in in there, things do change. Be well, look after yourself and each other. It will happen

awwww cerys congratulations!! I never post.......I usually read and run but this time I thought it is really nice when good things happen to people! yay! I wish you a healthy 9 months.....or are they 8 months now...time flies..

Thanks Cerys, it's always good to hear positive story, I have to say I do agree with you, our stressful life's affect our health and this later affects our fertility, I'm perfectionist therefore I do really struggle to relax, there is always Sth waiting to be done! But have done lots of thinking recently and decided that I have to learn to let things go and find time to relax, I hope it will help me to get pg but also as I'm 35 I think more often about my health and issues related to stress ie stroke and few more :) anyway that's my plan:relax :)
Congratulations on your pregnancy! Hope you will enjoy every day of it!
