A little worried...

I am a bit worried because my first scan the baby didn't seem to be doing much and everyone else seems to have very active babies. They said the baby was healthy.

I had 5 scans until now, in all of them the baby was sleeping. I am a little worried about that too but they didn't seem to worry at all... Hopefully we just have chilled out babies

Okay number 1 jealous of your 5 scans vs my one, number 2 wow your baby must be very chilled out, I've only had one where it's sleeping, but during the heart monitor it kept trying to hide from it like an action hero. Sigh :) it's soo hard when you're worried. i also haven't got my quad results yet.

Many websites or books say for first time mums it could even be 24 + before you actually feel anything x

Try not to worry! I didn't feel a flutter until I was about 18 weeks.. Even then, I wasn't convinced that it was the baby moving, it just felt like wind.. Last week, at 21 weeks, the feelings got stronger and i can now feel little kicks, but they are very few + far between! My LO usually starts kicking when I've just got into bed ready to sleep.. Try drinking a cold fizzy drink and laying down, concentrating on any movement.. I'm sure it won't be long until you feel baby move :) xx

i didnt feel anything at all til 22 weeks, and nothing that i was positive was baby til 23 weeks, i had anterior placenta so it muffled the movement and on my 'ample' frame i think that meant i barely felt her pretty much all the way thru. to the point that at 40+3 they gave me a sweep and booked me for induction the next day if i hadnt gone into labour from the sweep purely based on me saying to the doc that i hadnt really ever felt her move much and after monitoring me and her movements and my ability to feel them the doc said they wanted to induce me if i didnt go that night rather than wait for the 2 weeks over induction date.
Alyssa is big and healthy lol just a really chilled lazy baby.

Don't worry Hun, I'm 17 week and had a scan yesterday where bubs was kicking away buy I can't feel it yet, he's a lotbigger now than 15 weeks when my last scan and is starting to fill the sack/fluid out too so I don't think it will be too long.:)

I'm sure it will come, If you do feel worried see your midwife for a bit of Doppler action to put your mind at ease.

Xx

I started to feel proper ones probably between 20-21 weeks. Now she won't stop kicking me!

Apparently I have anterior placenta so probably it will take a good while to actually feel the baby ...
