I am almost 17 weeks and I was told that I would feel butterfly flutters. I am not feeling any movement really,is anyone else the same?

Hey, is it your 1st? They say it takes longer with your 1st and depends where your placenta is , that affects feeling the babies movements. I'm 25 weeks tomorrow and have only been feeling proper kicks a couple of weeks. And before that it's very light. Baby has so much room in there. I was amazed at my 20week scan how much baby was moving, but couldn't feel it :) xx

Same here i'm not really feeling anything yet, get the odd "pop" but that probably just wind lol

I'm 24 weeks and only really just starting to feel proper movement, as when I had my first child, my placenta is at the front and cushioning any kicks, you may gave the same xxx

I felt flutters at about 18/19 weeks - it's the weirdest feeling! But I can only feel it if I am sitting quietly and still. It's getting stronger though, I can't wait for it to be strong enough for my OH to feel!

I've been feeling the odd twitches for the past 2 weeks, but I am not sure if it is fetal movement or not!! Try not to worry, some people dont feel anything until about 22 weeks xx

I felt flutters at around 11 weeks but they didn't get any stronger until 21 weeks.... needless to say I was in bits until our 20 week scan! Even now our little monkey worries me sometimes when he/she is quiet for long periods of time.... Hubby is anti-dopler as I can get obsessive and worries that I will panic too much.

I am sure that you will feel more soon hun xx

I'm 16 weeks today and havent felt anything...I've heard 20 weeks with your first and 16-18 weeks with second pregnancies so I wouldn't worry yet hun :) I know what you mean though I'm dying to feel something! xxx

I've been feeling them for several weeks; started as popping feeling and have progressively got stronger. More noticeful within the last week. I feel them more at night when I am laying down although many women do not report movement until much later so everything is still 'normal' for you honey. Is such a worry being pregnant! xx

Thanks guys, I do feel better, it is my first one, and I think I might have a lazy but loveable baby or it'll just have to be at 20-24 weeks that I feel the baby. The first scan the baby wasn't dong much just lying on it's side but I was told that is normal LOL.

Im 18+3 with 2nd baby, and i felt movement about 1 1/2 weeks ago, now i feel proper kicking : ) Didn't feel it so much with my 1st, probably say 20 weeks, so don't fret they are coming!!
