A little guidance required ladies....

Hi ladies,
I'm just after a little advice. My body is just starting to get back to normal
after coming off cerazette at the end of Feb and had my first period March 19th.
That lasted 5 days and my next one started April 23rd which I worked out to be
a 35 day cycle. I started using opks CD7 and got my smiley face CD15 which I thought
was ok, we BD'd regularly and have kept fingers and toes crossed for some good
luck! Can I now poas as it's 14 dpo tomoro or what?? If my cycle is going to be
about 35 days like the last one I'm not due af til a week tomoro so do I wait
to see if af turns up next week or start poas??? I don't get it, I'm useless ha ha!!!
Any help welcomed, sorry for the long boring saga ha xx

i would poas and see what happens. Have you had any signs or symptoms?

You usually would get af 10-16 days after ovulation - so if you ov day 15 you won't have a 35 day cycle if you did ovulate.

I would try a test and then at least you'll know good luck

Thanks ladies.
I have one test so I'll do it tomoro morning with fmu and see how I get on.
Can't say I've noticed any symptoms to be honest. I've been very bloated
which is kind of normal for pre-af time and my boobs are a little sore but
other than that I just feel like normal me! Possibly slightly less arsey and stroppy ha ha!
Fingers crossed for tomoro. I think if get a bfn I'll hold on til next week and see
if af turns up. Ccant bring myself to get excited because I've read so much conflicting
information! Some people say you ov 14 days before af is due and some say you
ov 14 days into cycle! Very confusing.....!!!

It can be both - if a woman has a 28 day cycle they will more than likely ov on day 14, and equally will get af 14 days after. But if you have long cycles - I usually have 34 day cycles so do not ov until day 19 or 20 then get af 14 days later. some people get af sooner than 14 days

It is all very confusing and sometimes the more you read the more confused you get.

I would say if u got smiley day 15 then a test should pretty much give u a + if u are prego,best of luck xx

I'm not feeling very positive but I think that's self-preservation kicking in!

I'll test first thing tomoro if af hasn't arrived and hope for the best!
