A Dummy Question?

Just before Dan sucks properly on his dummy his mouth does this really cute little quivver.

It goes:

Quivver...suck...rest...quiver...suck...rest...and so on...continuously.

Is this a normal dummy sucking thing?

2 of my nephews did the same as babies. Then after they grew out of it they hooked their bottom lip over the dummy.

I guess so. I'm just thinking about the pattern of sucking they do when they're BFing - towards the end of the feed they kind of quiver which is the final milk (like the pudding course!) coming in (the bit where friends and family who don't know say "that baby is just comfort feeding!)so perhaps he's mimicking that?
