Im just a bit worried because I haven't felt the baby move since yesterday, normally it's very active but I haven't felt anything :( I know im only 19 weeks but I have felt baby move everyday since 16 weeks so it's worrying me that I haven't felt anything

I also had very bad lower back pain last night and it kept me awake most of the night :( Just couldn't get comfy in bed, is that something I should worry about? I've had back pain since being pregnant but not as bad as it was last night :?

xx

Maybe give you midwife a call if you are worried?

My lil one is quiet some days too, in fact friday he was very quiet and I posted myself about it! Thank god I've got the doppler as it reassures me every time

Go and get checked out hun just to make sure all is ok. I had this several times in pregnancy and had to keep going to get monitored. Sometimes it can just be the way baby is lying, sometimes they are just having a quiet period

Thanks

Wish I hadn't sold my doppler now :(

Think i'll lie down with a cold glass of water and see if that makes baby move. If not then i'll have to phone antental part of hospital as I don't have a direct number for my midwife :?

I've tried rubbing my belly, prodding it gently, playing music but nothing is making baby move

Maybe the baby has moved position to your back and thats why your getting pain and you can't feel the movements. Give your MW a call just in case.

I get this, I've felt the baby since 16 weeks and some days I litlerally shake my belly to make the baby move, needless to say this doesn't work :wall:

Hope eveythong is ok, I'm sure it will be.

Dont worry sweetie
my Little boy is a very very active boy
but once in awhile he goes quite sometimes for a full day once for 2 days which i admit worried me
but then he was back to bouncing, kicking, punching and moving like a gymnast.
you Bubba is probley having a rest recharging before getting bck to wiggiling about.
Im sure your baby is fine love
And as for the back pain ive had that too
if my Collier is not moving its because he is pressing hard on my back or stomach causing real discomfort.
ive had a few restless nights sleep and found any postion uncomfortable
Hope the back pain calms down
i found a shower helped and a nice back rub from my Man
You'll feel your baby soon

LOL Sarah

I agree-it sounds like your baby has moved positions and is pressing on your back.

If you're worried tho-it's best to get it checked out.
Hope your LO is ok. :)

I had same thing last Sunday, baby was very quiet and then Monday I didn't feel anything. I kept telling myself that it would be moving again by the next day but by lunchtimes it hadn't so I called my midwife who said I should go straight to hospital.

I was so glad I went, they checked everything was ok and listened to baby's heartbeat and said that baby was lying facing my spine & kicking inwards rather than onto my belly where all my nerve endings are.

It was such a relief to find out everything was ok and stopped me from worrying.

I would call your midwife & get checked out.

Try lying down and see if the baby moves - my LO doesn't move much during the day but never stops at night.

If u are really worried then I would do as the others are saying and go see the midwife

Thanks for the replies

Had something to eat and a cold glass of water then lay down for a while and felt baby move a couple of times :D It's stopped again now but atleast I have felt it now so I know everything is ok :D

Im just so glad I have felt it moving a couple of times, was worried not feeling it for so long :(

If I get worried i eat something sugary, and then i crunch some ice. Poor thing, must hate me for waking her up. Lol.

Hi Rachel,

I've had this too, and am also 19 weeks. Have been feeling the baby move quite a lot recently, then suddenly I felt nothing for about 24 hours. I prodded my belly a bit, and the girls were talking to my tummy, ha ha, but still nothing. Was just getting really worried when I felt a kick. It feels like it has changed positions though and is more upright at present. It sounds like your baby has changed positions too, and as the movements are still quite light at 19 weeks, it could determine whether you feel anything or not.

I reckon your LO is absolutely fine but if you're worried it could be worth giving the m/w a call, must admit, I nearly did!!!

Thats great news hun :D
im happy to hear you felt you baby moving a few times

Thanks :D Don't know what I would do without you lot

I would have phoned the midwife if baby hadn't moved after me eating something and having a cold drink but im glad I didn't need to :D

I have felt baby move a few times since so it must have changed position so I can feel the movements again
