hiya i no this may sound silly but i have not had chance to ask my midwife yet so thought i would have a crack on here and see what you guys think.
i had my last period at the end of january so the midwife worked out i am around 9 weeks. i have a very small framed body and in my 1st pregnancy i started showing at around 20ish weeks but my bump always stayed tiny and i never went up a size in clothes. now this pregnancy is completley different. i am already showing and it is quite noticable my trousers are getting uncomfortably tight and i am really struggling to do buttons up on jeans, and i am so sure i can feel movement. its not huge movement like kicking but just like the baby is turning around or moving about a little bit. does anyone think it is possible that even though i still had a period up until the end of january could o be further gone the the midwife thinks? oh and just to be clear the midwife has not been poking around at my belly or anythin yet, she has only asked questions so she has just took her guess of how far gone i am from my last period date. thanks sarah x

Some people do have bleeding at around the time their period would be due, but it's not usually as heavy as a normal period - until you've had a scan you won't know for sure. The change in size could just be due to bloating though, even if you didn't have it in your first pregnancy... my two were so different. It's common to start showing much earlier with your second too :) If it really is the baby you're feeling I would say you're further on, but I'm definitely not pregnant and I'm always feeling strange movements that really are like first baby movements  ...usually when I'm feeding my son so I assume it's something to do with my uterus contracting. At least you won't have to wait too long for your scan :)

And congratulations :yay:
