7 years bad luck??????

I bloomin hope not

my DH was just opening a drawer in the chest of drawers and the big mirror on top toppled off, sending my portable TV face down on to the floor, there was glass everywhere and the mirror and TV are knackered, we have marble floors as well so they didnt stand a chance.

luckily DH wasnt hurt and even more lucky was that baby wasnt in room!

I'm well peed off though, my telly was one with an inbuilt DVD and you cant get them here and now got no tv in bedroom!!!!!

still gives DH an excuse to get his plasma telly when we can afford it!

well I hope this Aint the start

My DH is a s elf employed tiler and had a big job all lined up, he'd been to see the people twice (they're english), told them he couldnt start for 2-3 weeks, they said this was ok, price was agreed, shook hands etc, he rang them yesterday to say he could start 24 sept and this was ok, told them he would go and see them tonite to discuss other things (the job isnt local either), anyway he was running late tonite so rang the bloke to say he'd be 1/2 hour and the bloke said he's got someone else!!!!! I was so friggin mad, my DH english isnt that brilliant specially on the phone so I rang the bloke to check that DH had understood correctly and the bloke was a bit gobsmacked I'd rung him, and then said well he said he couldnt do the job, I was like he rang you YESTERDAY and said when he could start so whty didnt you tell him then, what were you gonna do let him drive all the way to you for you to say 'forget it!?', I was so mad. DH has worked his socks off this week so he could start this other job sooner than he said and the friggin bloke didnt even have the decency to telephone him to say he'd got someone else.

AND THEN i hear the rumour that there's gonna be no direct flight to UK this xmas so that means I wont be able to go to my family for xmas this year
please NO MORE BAD LUCK!!!!!!

when me a OH moved into our current home he broke 5 mirrors in the space of 3 weeks no word of a lie and that was 3 and a half years ago and we have been fine thank god!!

ive always been told that if u bury the broken mirror then it is supposed to take away the 7years bad luck!!!!!
